Product Details
MBI5020 is a driver IC designed specifically for LED display panels using CMOS technology. Its built-in CMOS displacement buffer and latch function can convert serial input data into parallel output data format. The 16 current sources of MBI5020 can provide a constant current of 3-45 mA at each output stage to drive the LED.
When applying MBI5020 to LED panel system design, MBI5020 can provide system designers with great flexibility and excellent component efficiency. Users of MBI5020 can adjust the current of each output stage by selecting external resistors with different resistance values. Through this mechanism, users can easily control the brightness of the LED. The design of MBI5020 ensures that its output stage can withstand voltage above 20V, so multiple LEDs can be connected in series at each output terminal. In addition, MBI5020 also provides a high clock frequency of 25MHz to meet the system's demand for large amounts of data transmission.
