Product Introduction


This power supply is a high-efficiency voltage-stabilized power supply module. When the input voltage is lower than, higher than, or equal to the output voltage, the output voltage can remain stable. For example, if the output is set to 12V, then when the input voltage changes between 5 and 32V, the output voltage remains stable at 12V. This module has perfect protection functions and can be used for solar charging.


[Introduction to Synchronous Rectification Technology]

Synchronous rectification is a new technology that uses a dedicated power MOSFET with extremely low on-resistance to replace the rectifier diode to reduce rectification loss. It can greatly improve the efficiency of the DC/DC converter and there is no dead zone voltage caused by the Schottky barrier voltage. The power MOSFET is a voltage-controlled device, and its volt-ampere characteristics are linear when it is turned on. When using a power MOSFET as a rectifier, the gate voltage must be synchronized with the phase of the rectified voltage to complete the rectification function, so it is called synchronous rectification. Synchronous rectification technology greatly reduces the rectification loss at the output end of the switching power supply, thereby improving the conversion efficiency and reducing the heat generation of the power supply itself.

Product debugging method


[Debugging method]

1. Battery undervoltage protection adjustment method: (Take 12V lead-acid battery to set 10V undervoltage protection and shut down output as an example)

The input is connected to the regulated power supply and adjusted to 10V, and the undervoltage protection potentiometer is adjusted (clockwise to increase, counterclockwise to decrease) until the fault indicator light (red light) is on, that is, the setting is successful; in this way, when the battery is discharged to 10V, the power supply will be automatically cut off to protect the battery from damage.

Note: If it is not powered by a battery, no setting is required;

2. Output voltage adjustment method: input is connected to the power supply (voltage is higher than the undervoltage protection value), the red light is off and the blue light is on, the output is connected to the multimeter, and the output voltage potentiometer is adjusted (clockwise to increase, counterclockwise to decrease) until the required voltage is reached;

Note: Normally, the red light is off and the blue light is on. Otherwise, there is a fault, input undervoltage protection, output overcurrent protection, output short circuit protection, please troubleshoot the fault and power on again.

3. Output current adjustment method: (charge 12V lead-acid battery with 12V input, charging current 5A as an example)

Connect the input to a 12V power supply, and connect the output to an ammeter in parallel (the red meter pen is connected to the positive output, the black meter pen is connected to the negative output, and the output is directly short-circuited. It is recommended to use an ammeter of more than 15A to prevent the fuse from burning). Adjust the constant current potentiometer (clockwise to increase, counterclockwise to decrease) until the ammeter displays the required value of 5A. Remove the ammeter and connect the battery to charge normally.

Note: If used for constant voltage equipment, only the maximum output current needs to be set.
