South Korea VIA Electronics Co., Ltd., formerly a subsidiary of Samsung, was established in 1992 and focuses on the R&D and production of SAW Filters. Wisol was independently established in 2008 and set up a factory in Tianjin in 2009. It was launched in September 2010. In 2011 and 2012, the first and second factories were established in Osan, South Korea.
