Product Overview

This module (MicroSD Card Adapter) is a Micro SD card read-write module that allows the microcontroller system to read and write files from the MicroSD card through the file system and SPI interface driver program. Users can directly use the SD card library that comes with Arduino lDE to complete card initialization and read/write operations.

Product Module features

1. Supports Micro SD card and Micro SDHC card (high-speed card)

2. On board level conversion circuit, i.e. interface level can be 5V or 3.3V

3. The power supply is 4.5V~5.5V, with an onboard 3.3V voltage regulator circuit

4. The communication interface is a standard SPI interface

5. 4 M2 screw positioning holes for easy installation

Experimental steps:

1. Insert the Base Shield directly into the Catduino motherboard, ensuring that the Micro SD card is formatted in FAT16 or FAT32 format, and insert it into the Micro SD card module.

2. Connect the Micro SD card module to the SPI interface of the Base Shield using 6 female to female DuPont wires, As shown in the table and figure below

Select the serial port and board name, click the burn button to burn. This routine demonstrates how to read information from a MicroSD card, including the card type, file system type, storage capacity, and also lists the file names on the card.
