Product Description
DC UPS 12V 12W UPS uninterruptible power supply control motherboard, used for designing continuous power supply for network equipment such as routers, switches, or infrared alarms. When the battery is fully charged, the upper limit can output 1A current, and when the battery voltage is about to be discharged, it can output 8-9W power. When the output is short circuited, it automatically shuts down and recharges before recovery. Before the battery is discharged and shut down, there is often a flashing prompt that flashes several times before entering low power protection and turning off the output! (Tip: Input or output interfaces can share negative poles, positive poles cannot be shared, and battery terminals cannot share negative poles!)
Reminder: The current motherboard has a charging time detection function. If the charging is not completed within 6-7 hours, it will prompt for battery abnormality. The default slow charging is suitable for batteries within 8Ah, and changing the jumper to fast charging is suitable for batteries within 15Ah. If you want to match a larger capacity battery, you need to modify the timing circuit. Batch customization can support 20Ah or larger. Note that only the charging timeout threshold is changed, and it is not related to the charging speed!
A high-power UPS uninterruptible power supply motherboard developed for routers or optical modem with 12V 1.5A, and can also be used for devices with 12V 1A!
When charging, it is necessary to limit the input to 5V. The default charging current is 0.5-0.6A, so there is no need to replace the customer's original charger. There is also a jumper to improve the charging speed. If the charging is accelerated, the customer's original power supply must be replaced to prevent safety hazards. At least Only double the power is sufficient. For example, if the customer is using a 12V 1.5A power supply and charges quickly, they need to replace it with a 12V 2.5A-3A power supply. It is necessary to reserve more margin because you cannot know whether the quality of the power supply meets the standard! Please pay attention to this issue among colleagues or users!
Product parameters
Input voltage: DC 5V-12V
Output voltage: DC9V or DC12V can be selected (default is 9V, jumper can also be changed to 12V)
Output power: MAX12W
BAT connected battery 3.7V lithium or polymer battery, battery capacity: 1-10AH (MAX15AH)
Product Function Diagram
Attention: Please connect the battery at the last step, which is very important. At least 20AWG wire should be used for soldering input and output, and the wire length should not exceed 10CM. If the input is connected to the output, it will form a loop, which will lose 0.4-0.6mA of current. The no-load power consumption is about 0.4MA, and the diode isolation loss is 0.3-0.4V
Indicator light: Use a red blue diode with a common anode. Blue light indicates whether it is loaded or not; The red light indicates whether the battery is charged. The charging red light is on, and the fully charged red light is not on; The flashing red light indicates that the battery is abnormal or not connected. The indicator light needs to be configured by oneself. It is recommended to choose red and blue indicator lights to be effective. Other colors and dual color indicator lights are invalid
Attention: The output short circuit of the control board during charging is invalid, so please use this function with caution!
Attention: The control board generates heat during operation, so it should be installed at a certain distance from the battery!
