Module performance and characteristics


● Equipped with a voltmeter display and capable of self calibration. Adopting more advanced voltage microprocessors, the voltmeter has an error of ± 0.05V and a range of 0-40V. To ensure the accuracy of the voltmeter, please ensure that the input voltage is above 4.5V


● Touch the button to switch between measuring input or output voltage, and there is an indicator light to display which voltage is being measured and save the settings, even if the power is turned off and restarted.


● The voltmeter can be turned off, and when not needed, simply touch the left button to easily achieve it.

Application scope


This module can be applied in the field of voltage reduction where the input voltage is higher than the output voltage, such as batteries, power transformers, DIY adjustable voltage regulators, 24V car pen and meter power supplies, industrial equipment voltage reduction, 12V to 3.3V, 12V to 5V, 24V to 5V, 24V to 12V, 36V to 24V, etc.


Self calibration method for onboard voltmeter


1.When the onboard voltmeter displays the output voltage, press and hold the button on the right side for 2 seconds before releasing it. The voltmeter and output voltage indicator light "OUT" will flash synchronously, entering the output voltage adjustment mode; Similarly, when the voltmeter displays the input voltage, press and hold the button on the right side for 2 seconds and then release it. The voltmeter and input voltage indicator light "IN" will flash synchronously, entering the input voltage adjustment mode;


2. Tap the right button to increase the voltage by one unit, tap the left button to decrease the voltage by one unit; Due to the voltage value of a unit being less than 0.1V, you need to press it continuously 1-5 times to see a change of 0.1V on the voltmeter. The specific number of consecutive presses depends on the current displayed voltage value. The higher the current displayed voltage, the fewer presses will be made;


3.After the voltage adjustment is completed, press and hold the button on the right side for 2 seconds and then release it to exit the voltage calibration mode. All parameter settings will automatically power off and save.


Note: With this adjustment method, you only need to calibrate once to obtain accurate voltage values across the entire voltage range. This function is designed to meet your higher precision requirements, so please feel free to use it.

Calibration method for digital tube:


The calibration value range is -0.5~0.5, the factory parameter is 0, and the unit is V. One unit of voltage value is 0.02V, with positive values indicating upward calibration and negative values indicating downward calibration.


1. Input voltage calibration method: After the module is powered on, let the digital display show the input voltage. At this time, the "IN" indicator light is always on. Press and hold the button for 2 seconds and then release it. At this time, the digital display flashes. Adjust the calibration value by pressing the button. After adjustment, press and hold the button for 2 seconds to exit the calibration mode and save the set parameters. It will not be lost when power is off;


2. Calibration method for output terminal voltage: After the module is powered on, let the digital tube display the output voltage. At this time, the "OUT" indicator light is always on. Press and hold the button for 2 seconds and then release it. At this time, the digital tube flashes. Adjust the calibration value by pressing the button. After adjustment, press and hold the button for 2 seconds to exit the calibration mode and save the set parameters. It will not be lost in case of power failure.


Supporting devices


1. For the first use, the potentiometer should be rotated counterclockwise for more than ten turns before adjusting the voltage.


2. The peak output current is 3A, and it should work within 2A for a long time. If it exceeds 2A, it is necessary to strengthen heat dissipation.


3. This module is a voltage reduction module, with an output voltage lower than the input voltage and a voltage difference of at least 1V.


4. The maximum output voltage and maximum output current cannot be met simultaneously, and the maximum output power of 10W is the limiting condition. Output voltage * output current=output power.


5. Do not use load voltage regulation. Adjust the parameters first, then connect the load circuit, and finally connect the power.


6. Do not use high voltage, high current, or hot swapping to prevent damage to the module.


7. When the input voltage is below 4V, the digital display will not display or work. To ensure the accuracy of the voltmeter display, the input voltage must be above 4.5V.
