Introduction to the main control chip

The module uses the CH376 chip, which is a file management and control chip used for microcontroller systems to read and write files from USB drives or SD cards. CH376 supports both USB device and USB host modes, and comes with basic firmware for USB communication protocol, firmware for handling Mass Storage devices, firmware for SD card communication interface, and management firmware for FAT16, FAT32, and FAT12 file systems. It supports commonly used USB storage devices (including USB flash drives, USB hard drives, USB flash drives, USB card readers) and SD cards (including standard capacity SD cards, high-capacity HC-SD cards, and protocol compatible MMC and TF cards)

CH376 supports three communication interfaces: 8-bit parallel port, SPI interface, or asynchronous serial port. Controllers such as microcontrollers, DSPs, MCUs, and MPUs can control the CH376 chip through any of the above communication interfaces to access files from USB or SD cards or communicate with computers.

The USB device mode of CH376 is fully compatible with the CH372 chip, and the USB host mode of CH376 is basically compatible with the CH375 chip.
