Product Introduction


Module is a circuit scheme that can be charged and discharged at the same time, and is more scientific than generalized charging and discharging. When the power supply has electricity, it directly supplies power to the load; Once the power supply is disconnected, the battery circuit will automatically start to supply power to the load; When the power supply comes in, restore the power supply to the load. The module has functions such as charging control, lithium battery protection, switch (hard control), power input reverse protection, overvoltage, overcurrent, short circuit protection, single channel charging and discharging, UPS dual channel seamless switching charging and discharging, output enable control (soft control signal triggered output), and output intelligent control (timing, delay, cycle on/off, etc.).

Module features


UPS seamless switching dual charging and discharging:


One 1.5V power supply charges the battery while the other conducts output;


2. In the event of a power outage, the battery boost output will seamlessly switch automatically. When the power supply is restored, it will also automatically resume being powered by the power supply, and the battery will resume charging;


If either the 3.5V power supply or the battery is charged, the load can be maintained continuously without interruption;


4. The output function is flexible, can add switches, and can be intelligently controlled by MCU;


5. When not using the UPS function, the battery can also be used as a regular portable power bank after being fully charged.

Product Hot Tip


1. There are MOS and other components on the module that are easily damaged by induction or static electricity from a soldering iron. Please ensure that the soldering iron used is grounded and preferably operated with anti-static gloves;


2. Lithium batteries are protected against overcharging, overdischarging, current limiting, and output short circuits. If a short circuit is accidentally operated and enters the protection state without output, 5V charging will automatically activate and re output.

Instructions:


1. The module power supply voltage should be connected to DC 5V charging, with a maximum charging current of 400MA. The maximum power of the charging power supply used should be at least 3W higher than the load power, which means that the power supply can have sufficient current to charge the battery while carrying load; For example, if the load is less than 2W, a 5V1A charging power supply can be used; If 2W<load<5W, a 5V2A charging power supply is required


2. The SW switch pin can be connected in series with a white lock switch to control the on/off of the output circuit, without the need for a switch function. The SW pin can be short circuited, and the output path is normally conductive; At the same time, there is also a KEY pin microcontroller circuit that can be connected to a lock free touch switch. Pressing it once will turn on the output, and pressing it again will turn off the output.


3. The normal load connected should be ≤ 5W, and the transient load should be ≤ 8W


When outputting 5V, the load current should be ≤ 1A;


4. Load output indicator light: If there is voltage output at the load end, the red light will turn on, and if there is no voltage output, the light will not turn on
