Product Introduction
Module LTC3588 piezoelectric energy harvester.
This small module can not only harvest piezoelectric energy, but also solar energy.
There is a bridge that can transform the input into a piezoelectric element (PZ1 and PZ2) and can transform the direct input (VIN) into a DC source. The current of both bridges is within 20 volts. In addition, this board can be used alone as a buck regulator.
It has an ultra-low quiescent current undervoltage lockout mode with a large magnetic leakage window that can collect the charge of the input capacitor, while the buck regulator can drain the accumulated charge. Generally speaking, when the LTC3588 enters sleep mode, the quiescent current of the input and output is very small. The buck regulator is automatically enabled to ensure its normal operation.
The interface can selectively access four output voltages (1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V and 3.6V), and its output current is a constant current of 100mA. However, the output capacitor may suddenly release a higher current. Therefore, we set up a 20 volt input protection shunt, which allows the existing input capacitors to store more charge.
