When the battery voltage is lower than 3V, it enters the trickle charge mode and charges the battery with a charging current of 100mA.
When the battery voltage is greater than 3V, it enters the constant current charge mode and charges the battery with the set constant current charge current.
When the battery voltage is close to 4.2V and the charging current is less than 300mA, it enters the constant voltage charge mode. After entering the constant voltage mode, charging stops after every 4 minutes and checks whether the battery voltage is higher than 4.15V: if it is higher than 4.15V, charging stops; otherwise, charging continues and then checks after another 4 minutes.
When the battery is fully charged, if the battery voltage is detected to be lower than 4.1V, charging of the battery will start again.
Current adjustment instructions:
Default 3A, remove the 2A resistor and replace it with a 135k resistor 1A
Product Introduction
IP2312 is a 5V input IC that supports synchronous switching buck charging management of single-cell lithium batteries.
The operating frequency is 750KHz and the charging current can be as high as 3A. When the input is 5V, the conversion efficiency of 3.7V/2A can reach 94%.
This module has input overvoltage protection, undervoltage protection, overtemperature protection, timeout protection, etc. The charging current is 1-3A and the external resistor setting can be adjusted. The default factory charging voltage is 4.2V, which can be changed to 4.35V through the jumper point. It has a working indicator light and adopts a complete CC/CV charging mode.
Note: This module is suitable for 3.7V lithium batteries, and the full voltage is 4.2V or 4.35V.
