Product Functions
6. Problem explanation during the usage process:
a. Voltage display is normal, current display is 0.00 or 0.0
Ensure that the thick black line is connected to the negative terminal of the battery and the thick red line is connected to the negative terminal of the load. (Note that the wiring for discharging and charging is different, see the concepts of load and power supply at the end). (The header uses original imported chips, which undergo very strict testing and calibration before leaving the factory to ensure 100% no quality problems. 99.99% of cases where the current displays 0 are due to wiring errors, please be patient and carefully check the wiring).
b. Inaccurate current display
If it is a direct or independent power supply and the equipment power supply are grounded, simply disconnect the thin black wire to achieve accuracy.
c. No display when connected to the power supply
Any AC power that has been rectified must be filtered by an electrolytic capacitor with a capacitance of at least 1000uF before it can be supplied to the meter head.
d. Judging the quality of the header (the following are two situations of normal headers)
Do not connect the shunt, connect the thin red and black wires to the power supply. The current displayed on the meter with a range of 50A is 50.0-59.9, and the current displayed on the meter with a range of 100A is 100-109.
Connect the shunt, connect the thin red and black wires to the power supply. The current displayed on the meter with a range of 50A is 0.00, and the current displayed on the meter with a range of 100A is 0.0 °
e. Other precautions:
Current measurement can only be connected in series between the negative pole of the power supply and the negative pole of the load.
Voltage range: The power supply voltage range for the 5-wire header is 4-28V, which means that the voltage of the thin red wire connection cannot exceed
Over 28V.
f. Regarding the concepts of load and power supply:
During discharge: The battery, switch power supply, and transformer are the power sources, while resistors, lights, motors, and electrical equipment are the loads.
When charging: The charger, generator, and solar energy are the power sources, while the charging battery and battery are the loads.
