Product Note
Why does charging cause power failure or automatic shutdown?
This is caused by a few dismantled batteries having excessive internal resistance. Simply pair it up for testing (although it cannot be detected without instruments) or replace it with a brand new battery. Additionally, try to use better wires as excessive output current can also cause power failure protection. If the load current is greater than 1A, use 5V2.1A for charging to avoid power failure protection.
Why can't it be charged to 99%?
If it is a new battery, the first time the battery is installed, discharge it (i.e. charge the phone) and turn off the phone after discharging the electricity inside. Then charge it again to balance it and it can be charged to 100%. If it is an old battery, it should be discharged first and then charged again. If it still doesn't work, it is caused by high internal resistance and inconsistent capacity of the battery.
Why is the percentage displayed inaccurate when the battery is just installed, when the battery is only 50% charged and shows 80% when installed?
Please carefully review the following for DIY assembly buyers:
What type of battery should be used?
The battery should be a flat 18650 battery, 65mm long, and pointed batteries cannot be used.
If using old batteries with different capacities and brands, they cannot be used. The disassembled batteries must have a minimum voltage of 3.5V or higher per battery. If the voltage is too low, they will not charge when inserted (Note: Lithium batteries, mobile phone and tablet batteries can also be used)
How to distinguish between battery+- pole and power box+- pole?
Generally, the flat end of an 18650 battery is the negative electrode, and the end with a hole is the positive electrode.
You must not install it backwards. If you install it backwards, it will burn out all at once, and if you install it correctly, it will be useless.
Why is there no power output after installing the battery?
After installing the battery, you need to plug in the 5V charger to activate it before using it
What is the actual conversion rate of this power box?
A brand new full capacity standard battery has a conversion rate of about 80%. However, adding connecting wires can cause line loss, making it difficult to determine the conversion rate of old batteries or mixed batteries with false labels. Therefore, when asked about the conversion rate, we cannot give you an accurate answer. Many people resort to dismantling batteries and mixing them together. Can you provide an accurate number? Perhaps no one can say that the first time the battery is installed, it should be discharged (i.e. charging the phone), the electricity inside should be discharged, and then the power supply should be charged again to balance and display the percentage accurately. All digital power supplies are like this.
