Product Descriptions
GY-56 is a low-cost digital infrared ranging sensor module. The working voltage is 3-5V, with low power consumption, small size, and easy installation. The working principle is that the infrared LED emits light, and after shining on the measured object, the returned light is received by the MCU, which calculates the time difference and obtains the distance. Directly output the distance value.
This module has two ways to read data, namely serial UART (TTL level)+IIC (2-wire) mode. The baud rate of the serial port is 9600bps and 115200bps, which can be configured and has two modes of continuous and inquiry output. It can save settings when powered off. Provide communication programs for Arduino, 51, and STM32 microcontrollers.
We do not provide schematic diagrams or internal microcontroller source code.
GY-56 can set upper and lower limit distance alarm values, output switch values, and directly output high level if the measured object is blocked within the set interval. In IIC mode, if necessary, internal IC addresses can be set to be different so that multiple sensors can be directly connected to the same bus.
