EWM22A-400RxxD is a new generation LoRa wireless data transmission module. This series of modules is based on SEMTECH high-performance RF chip and developed as RS485 interface modules. It has multiple transmission modes and operates in the frequency band (410.125-493.125MHz) (default 433.125MHz). It supports DC 5V power supply and can be paired with E22-T series in the same frequency band for low-power applications.
EWM22A-400RxxD adopts the new generation LoRa spread spectrum technology, which is faster, has lower power consumption, and is smaller in size; Support airborne wake-up, wireless configuration, carrier monitoring, automatic relay, communication key and other functions, support packet length setting, and provide customized development services. The two modules in the following figure have different power but the same frequency band, and their packaging is also different.

Adopting the new generation LoRa spread spectrum modulation technology, it brings longer communication distance and stronger anti-interference ability;
Adopting RS485 interface mode makes data transmission more convenient for RS485 interface devices;
Support online firmware upgrade, making firmware updates more convenient;
Supports AT commands, making it more convenient to use;
Support automatic relay networking, multi-level relay is suitable for ultra long distance communication, and multiple networks run simultaneously in the same area;
Support users to set their own communication keys, which cannot be read, greatly improving the confidentiality of user data;
Support LBT function, listen to environmental noise before sending, which can greatly improve the communication success rate of the module in harsh environments;
Support RSSI signal strength indication function, used for evaluating signal quality, improving communication networks, and ranging;
Support wireless parameter configuration, remotely configure or read wireless module parameters by sending command packets wirelessly;
Support air wake-up, which is an ultra-low power consumption function, suitable for battery powered application solutions;
Support fixed-point transmission, broadcast transmission, and channel monitoring;
Supports global license free ISM 433MHz frequency band and 470MHz meter reading frequency band;
Under ideal conditions, the communication distance can reach 10km;
Save parameters after power failure, and the module will work according to the set parameters after power on again;
Internal watchdog, automatically resets and resumes operation in case of unexpected situations;
Supports wireless transmission rates ranging from 2.4K to 62.5Kbps (air speed);
Supports 2.7-5.5V power supply, with optimal performance guaranteed for power supplies greater than 5V;
Industrial standard design, supporting long-term use at -40~+85 ℃;
The maximum transmission power of the module can reach 1W (30dBm), with longer and more stable transmission.
