The ST-LINK/V2 is a USB-powered in-circuit debugging and programmer tool for STM8 and STM32 microcontrollers. It supports SWIM (1.65–5.5 V) and JTAG/SWD (1.65–3.6 V) interfaces with full-speed USB 2.0 connectivity and includes cables for standard and 2.54 mm pitch connectors. SWIM programming supports up to 12.8 kB/s, and SWD enables debugging and serial wire viewer (SWV) communication. The ST-LINK/V2-ISOL model adds 1000 Vrms isolation for enhanced safety. It works with ST and third-party software tools such as STM32CubeIDE, STVD-STM8, and STVP-STM8, making it ideal for embedded development and programming across a wide range of STM8 and STM32 applications.
