Product Descriptions
The MPU-6000 is the world's first integrated 6-axis motion processing component. Compared to multi-component solutions, it eliminates the problem of inter axis differences when combining gyroscopes and accelerators, reducing a significant amount of packaging space. The MPU-6000 integrates a 3-axis gyroscope, 3-axis accelerator, and includes a Digital Motion Processor (DMP) hardware acceleration engine that can be connected to accelerators, magnetic sensors, or other sensors from other brands through a second I2C port. The main I2C port outputs complete 9-axis fusion algorithm technology in the form of a single data stream to the application end
InvenSense's motion processing database can handle complex motion sensing data, reducing the workload of motion processing operations on the operating system and providing an architectural API for application development.
The angular velocity sensing range of MPU-6000 is ± 250, ± 500, ± 1000, and ± 2000 °/sec (dps), which can accurately track fast and slow movements. In addition, the user programmable accelerator sensing range is ± 2g, ± 4g ± 8g, and ± 16g. Product transmission can be achieved through I2C up to 400kHz or SPI up to 20MHz.
The MPU-6000 can operate at different voltages, with VDD power supply voltages of 2.5V ± 5 percent, 3.0V ± 5 percent, or 3.3V ± 5 percent, and logic interface VVDIO power supply of 1.8V ± 5 percent. The packaging size of MPU-6000 is 4x4x0.9mm (QFN), which is a revolutionary size in the industry. Other features include built-in temperature sensors and oscillators with only ± 1% variation in the operating environment.
